    Early life and education

    She was born in Austin, Texas, attended Southwestern University in Georgetown, and studied acting with William Esper in New York, among others, before moving to Los Angeles.[1][2]

    Kilton-Smith has coached actors including Jennifer Aniston, Casey Affleck, Austin Butler, Jack Harlow, B.J.

    Novak, Jodie Turner-Smith, Sam Rockwell, Samara Weaving, Gabrielle Union, Nicole Scherzinger, Lukas Gage, AJ Machalka, Courtney Cox, Diane Lane, Sharon Lawrence, Zac Efron, and Maria Bello.[3][4][5][6][7][8][1]

    She has coached performances in productions including Manchester by the Sea,Elvis, Oppenheimer, The White Lotus, Anne Boleyn, Iron Man, True Detective, The Instigators,Masters of the Air, Queen & Slim, Aladdin, Murder Mystery, Murder Mystery 2, Friends, Con Air, Never Back Down, White Boy Rick, Scream,Burlesque, and The Wedding Singer, and The Good Girl.[9][1][10]

    Producer

    Kilton-Smith served as an executive producer on the film Vengeance, starring B.J.

    Novak.[11]

    Director

    Kilton-Smith has directed actors including Jennifer Aniston, Brooke Shields, Anthony Mackie, Alanis Morissette, Joshua Jackson, Peter Dinklage, Stephen Merchant, Edie Falco, and Ari Graynor in The24 Hour Plays on Broadway and in Los Angeles.[12][13][14]

    She also directed the plays Never In My Lifetime and Above and Beyond in Los Angeles.[15][16][17]

    Personal life

    Kilton-Smith, along with husband Adam Smith, founded the Friends of El Faro charity, benefiting Casa Hogar Sion orphanage in Tijuana, Mexico.

    Jennifer Aniston has been public in her advocacy for the orphanage.[18]
